FAQ

How do I know that EAO delivers entertainment that is suitable for corporate events?
EAO Entertainment understands the important role of entertainment in creating an impressive, memorable event. A professional, top quality act can turn a mediocre night into a spectacular experience for your guests, something they'll remember for years to come.

We ensure the artists we book are reliable, of a professional standard, suited to a corporate audience, and conscious of the importance of 'entertaining' and connecting with the audience.

How can I be sure that the acts suggested by EAO are suited to my individual event?
EAO values your event themes and goals, and our Consultants tailor their entertainment suggestions to match your requirements, creating the perfect fit.

Your EAO Consultant develops a brief in consultation with you that identifies your requirements, audience demographic and desired atmosphere or effect. Your Consultant then customises a range of suggestions, selecting acts that are most suited to your individual brief and which will have the desired effect.

The brief can be altered as the enquiry progresses of course, should your requirements change!

Is the list of suggestions my Consultant provides exhaustive?
Rarely! Our experienced Consultants customise the list of suggestions to match your brief, but you may have something different in mind - just let us know, describe the direction you'd like to head in, and we'll come back to you with some alternative options.

I saw an act in another city/state, can you help me book them for the local region?
EAO has extensive, nation-wide industry contacts. If you know the name of the act, can describe what they do, or know when/where you saw them there's every chance we can check their availability/viability for your function!

We want a major touring artist, can you book national/major acts?
Absolutely. Some of the touring artists we've booked for functions and events previously include; Jimmy Barnes, Richard Clapton, Daryl Braithwaite, Mark Seymour, Glen Shorrock, Beccy Cole, Jenny Morris, Ian Moss, Kevin Borich, Gina Jeffreys and Ross Wilson.

How far ahead do I need to book to ensure I have the best range of options to choose from?
Ideally, it's best to contact us 8-12 months in advance, particularly if your event takes place during the peak periods (March-April and October-December).

Keep in mind also that commercial covers artists' Hotel/Club bookings are completed regionally in 3 or 6 month blocks, so if you're after a particular, popular act it's best to get in before these 'block bookings' are under way to avoid disappointment.

We understand that most event planners don't always have the luxury of a long lead-up to the event though, and in almost all instances we can offer a strong range of high quality options even 2 - 4 months beforehand.

My event is in 7-21 days, can you assist me with entertainment?
In the busy periods especially, we often receive enquiries from clients within 7 - 21 days of their event. We're able to prioritise and assist these short-notice clients with booking their entertainment, but please remember that a short-notice fee will be applied for prioritising your enquiry over others'.

Our business is only small, do you cater for small-budget business bookings?
Definitely - we provide soloists, duos/trios and DJs that are very suitable for entertaining at more intimate functions, or for clients who are keeping to a small budget. Professional entertainment doesn't necessarily need to be expensive to be effective.

For our event we want something unusual and creative - what can you suggest?
Here are couple of suggestions: an exhilarating, fast-paced aerobatic display from a professional pilot to wow guests during their canapés outside; a roving magician who wanders table-to-table, keeping guests enthralled while they're waiting for their meals; an electrifying tap routine between courses from a former Tap Dog and his troupe… these are just a handful of ideas! We can make many other suggestions, determined by your budget, audience and requirements. Just give us the details of your brief, and we'll come back to you with some fun and creative ideas.
