Wedding & function bands can bring all the benefits of live music to your special event - such as atmosphere and interaction - delighting you and your guests with a wide range of instruments and styles of music.
Are you looking for a particular style or era of music? Some wedding & function bands focus on a particular genre (e.g. jazz, rock, country), or focus on either newer or older music, and others perform a mix of these.
The more specific options can be really great to bring a particular atmosphere to your day or night. If you have a 1950s theme, then a rockabilly band would really suit. If you love the jazz era, a big band would be perfect.
The broader options with a mixed playlist are great for diverse audiences because they can play everyone’s favourites.
Depending on the level of experience and profile of the band, price can vary from less than a popular soloist right through to thousands of dollars - while bands can seem on the expensive side, you are paying for the experience and calibre of the band and generally get what you pay for. These days some wedding & function bands are taking advantage of technology and have the option to use an electronic drum kit, which gives the band even greater volume control.
